Where that sign is is the where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake. HERETIC!

More of the same.

The main cathedral in Rouen. Monet was a big fan and painted it a lot.

Vadim, Ilaria and Clark striking a pose on a cute side street.

The other side of the outside of the church.

Yet another church. Churches abound in Rouen.

Outside of the church, in the rain. Thankfully it had stopped by the time we were done with our hot chocolate in a nearby cafe.

View towards the atlar of the same church.

View towards the alter in the same church.

Today we decieded it was high time to get out of Paris for a bit. So away we went to Rouen and cute town about an hour away by train. It was me, Ilaria, her boyfriend Vadim visiting from the States and Clark. Rouen has a lot of churches so we saw quite a few of them. This in the inside of St. something that was build in the 8th century. It was really big but really empty.

Tonight was Laura's last night in Paris. In honor of this event we decided we should have a nice dinner out. There is a cute place in Montmarte that has fondue and wine in baby bottles and we decided this would be a fun place to have her last meal. However the place was full of America college kids on spring break but the fondue was good and drinking out of a baby bottle was an experience I am glad to say that I have had here in Paris. This, clearly, is me taking a sip of wine out of the baby bottle.

Friday we decided to go to Place de la Concord then stroll down the Champs Elysees. It was cold but pretty nonetheless.

Laura is currently visiting. It is quite nice. She arrived Wednesday and then Thursday we decided to go to the Musee d'Orsay. It is quite lovely and full of wonderful impressionist works. This a view of the whole museum from the top floor.
